newpollution

design lab

A playful experiment for a more human time telling (in contrast to typical digital clocks). This clock relies upon using the more general language we use in everyday-speech rather than the digits.

The colours are generated dynamically by using values from the current seconds, minutes and hour (as a result the colours will change over time).

Notes: project originally coded in AS3 in 02/2011, updated to P5JS in 2021. This version in P5JS created 10/2024.

/ Lab: prototypes + artworks / Motion & Animation

Waterfall: after Muybridge (2025)
