Jonny Norridge / design studio

This identity has been created for Melton Vineyard, a contemporary church with a vision to welcome people from all walks of life. Jonny Norridge (newpollution) provided brand consultancy, followed by the creation of a new logotype and brand guidelines, with a specific a pallet of ripped shapes and colours.

The aim was to develop a visual language for the community with out having a set symbol or icon for the logo, but rather relying on the use of imperfect ripped shape and vibrant colours (both taking influence from the later work of the fauvist artist Matisse). Thereby providing an appropriate and honest visual response to the community that is creative in service, contemporary in style, and widely embracing in its hospitality.

Design can be both visually stimulating and conceptually enlightening. The underlying belief of this studio is: good design matters.

newpollution is the design practice of Jonny Norridge. For over 15 years, Jonny has been producing work for a vast array of clients. Jonny is passionate and approachable. He thrives when creatively engaging in design problems and exploring graphics that communicate effectively. He regularly works on projects as a consultant, solo designer and art director; and where necessary employing the skills of a trusted network of designers and developers.
