This branding has been created for Melton Vineyard, a contemporary church with a vision to welcome people from all walks of life. Jonny Norridge (newpollution) provided brand consultancy, followed by the creation of a new logotype and brand guidelines, with a specific a pallet of ripped shapes and colours.
The aim was to develop a visual language for the brand with out having a set symbol or icon for the logo, but rather relying on the use of imperfect ripped shape and vibrant colours (both taking influence from the later work of the fauvist artist Matisse). Thereby providing an appropriate and honest visual response to the community that is creative in service, contemporary in style, and widely embracing in its hospitality.
